Public observing of Jupiter, the Moon, Mars and other objects with telescopes and binoculars from Regents Park: a late National Astronomy Week joint event by the Baker Street Irregular Astronomers and the British Astronomical Association. Come along and see the moons and cloud belts of Jupiter and the polar cap of Mars.
18:30 to 22:30 at The Hub in Regents Park, weather permitting.
The café in the Hub will be open until 22:00. There are toilets and the venue is suitable for the disabled.
The BAA and the Widescreen Centre will sponsor a free raffle for a choice piece of astronomical equipment.
The Hub can only be accessed by the illuminated path from from the Monkey Gate, which is just to the right of the entrance to the Zoo, on the Outer Circle. This can be reached by the 274 bus from Camden Town or Baker Street. There is free car parking in the evenings on the Outer Circle. The gate may be locked before 18:30.
