Please come along and meet members of the Plymouth Astronomical Society who will be present at the Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery, Drake Circus, Plymouth on Saturday March 1st to discuss astronomical matters and to answer your questions. A selection of telescopes, binoculars and camera equipment will be available to view.

Quizzes and other paper activities for children will be provided along with a quiz suitable for adults. Collect a free BBC2 Stargazing Live calendar!

The bookseller Waterstones will be present with a selection of astronomical books.

Short talks (15 minutes) will be given every 30 minutes from 11.00am.

Observing Evening: Clear skies permitting, come and observe the wonders of the night sky with us, including the magnificent planet Jupiter and its four Galilean Moons, at the Jennycliff Car Park (PL9 9SW) on one of the evenings Monday 3rd March – Friday 7th March.
