The university observatory in St Andrews is organising an open night on March 8th 2014 from 6 to 9pm. This event will include tours of the James Gregory Telescope – the largest optical telescope in the UK -, observing an exoplanet transit with the JGT, observing Jupiter, star clusters, and the moon with smaller telescopes, talks by astronomers, as well as an Ask-an-astronomer booth.
