The York Astronomical Society will be hosting a public Star Party on the Small car park half way along Knavesmire Road on the evening of Wednesday March 5th. Society members will have their telescopes out for everyone’s use, but feel free to bring your own along too – especially if you aren’t sure how to use it. We can show you how!
The main targets for the night will be the Moon and Jupiter, but weather permitting we’ll also be looking at some fainter objects too, such as Star Clusters and the Orion Nebula.
This is a free event.
