NIGHTWATCH ON THE SOUTH DOWNS.
An observing evening to see the beauties of the night sky, close up, including Jupiter, the Moon, the Winter Stars, Nebulae, Star Clusters and much more.
If you have a telescope then bring it along but if you don’t then there will be the opportunity to observe with other telescopes during the evening. Join Dr John Mason to discover the wonderful night sky over West Sussex.
The event is being organised by the South Downs Planetarium together with the National Trust and the South Downs National Park Authority.
PLEASE NOTE- THE EVENT IS WEATHER PERMITTING AND IT IS ESSENTIAL TO WEAR WARM CLOTHING.
The event is free.
Expert help will be on hand and light refreshments will be available.
