Mansfield and Sutton Astronomical Society are holding a Scope Surgery on Wednesday 5th March at Sherwood Observatory, Coxmoor Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts, NG17 5LF.

Have you received a telescope for your birthday or Christmas or even have an old one at the back of a cupboard gathering dust? Not sure how to set it up or use it correctly? Bring it along to the Observatory and one of our knowledgeable members will give you some guidance and instruction.

Cost

Free Entry, although donations to the Society are welcome and will be appreciated.
Pre-booking is not required.

Please bring any instructions, fittings, parts etc. that came with your scope.

If it’s raining we’ll set up the scopes under cover or inside.

Smoking is not permitted on site during the event.
