Observing a reappearance of Io from eclipse – Jupiter Moons
This video shows what you can expect to see when observing a reappearance of Io from eclipse. To show Jupiter’s moons it was necessary to increase the exposure, as you can see near the start of the video. After a while Io starts to appear, but you can see that it takes some 90 seconds from the first glimpse to it being at full brightness. The task is to judge the mid point of the reappearance.
